Radio Aire are once again heading up the ‘Mission Christmas’ campaign in aid of Cash for Kids, this December across Leeds.
We are asking if you can buy an extra present that can be given to a disadvantaged local child to make their Christmas morning special this year.
Gifts can be dropped off at locations across Leeds, and the Crown Point stores listed below all have donation boxes, waiting to be filled with gifts.
Crown Point stores with drop off points are: Boots, Card Factory, Currys & PC World, Mothercare, New Look, Next, Nike, Poundland, Poundworld, Smyths, TUI, Specsavers and TK Maxx.
To support the campaign all you need to do is buy a new and unwrapped gift suitable for children and young people aged 0-18 years.
Crown Point Shopping Park, Marketing Manager, Jay Heath said, “We have sponsored the Mission Christmas campaign with Radio Aire for 8 years, and are delighted to support the charity again this Christmas.”
“After going over to the sorting office at Radio Aire last year, we saw just how vital the work of the charity campaign is, and how hard all of the team work to make sure, Christmas is special for children living in the most difficult circumstances in West Yorkshire.
“If you are able to give anything, big or small, it really does make a huge difference, you just need to drop a new item into the Mission Christmas bins and the Mission Christmas team will collect, sort and distribute them.”
In 2016 the charity raised over £1.25 million in gifts and cash and made Christmas special for over 23,300 local children, and we want to do even more this year.
With your help, we really can make a difference to local children this Christmas.
